Inflation in Kazakhstan slows to 0.8% in Dec, annual figure 9.8%

ALMATY. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Inflation in Kazakhstan slowed to 0.8% in December from 1% in November 2023, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.

Annual inflation was 9.8%.

Food price rose 0.9% in December and 8.5% in annual terms, non-food prices 0.5% and 9.1% and service charges 0.8% and 12.4%.
