Death toll in Ukraine due to bad weather reaches 10

MOSCOW. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Ten people have died and another 23, among them children, have been injured in Ukraine as a result of adverse weather, Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko said.

"As for the consequences of the spell of bad weather, eight motorways in the Nikolayev and Kirovograd regions remain closed to traffic, 411 populated localities in 11 regions are currently without electricity. In all, 1,530 vehicles have been cleared from snowdrifts. Ten people have died in the Odessa, Kharkov and Nikolayev regions and Kiev because of the adverse weather conditions. Twenty-three people, among them two children, have been injured. The headquarters set up at the state and regional levels are working to address the aftermath of the spell of bad weather," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Klimenko as saying in a social media post.
