German govt issues investment insurance to Fixit to build second plant in Ukraine
MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - German building materials manufacturer Fixit has received an investment insurance from the German government to build a second plant in Ukraine, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.
"We want German businesses to invest in Ukraine, in reconstruction, and we are signing important documents during the forum [...]. Fixit, a company producing building materials, will build a second plant in Ukraine and will receive for this purpose an investment insurance from the German government, which will be signed here on the sidelines of the business conference," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying at a press conference during the sixth German-Ukrainian economic forum in Berlin on Tuesday.
The Fixit company will also receive a 12 million euro loan from German bank KfW, Shmygal said. "This is a very important and landmark project," he said.
