EEC extends antidumping duties on seamless stainless steel pipes from China, Malaysia
MINSK. Sept 26 (Interfax) - The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Board has extended antidumping duties on cold-drawn seamless stainless steel pipes imported into the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) from China and Malaysia until March 5, 2024, inclusive, the EEC press service reported.
The duties were supposed to expire on December 11, 2023, but the EEC's Internal Market Protection Department received a complaint that resulted in a second antidumping investigation being opened on March 6, 2023, the press service said.
The EEC imposed a 19.15% antidumping duty on cold-drawn seamless stainless steel pipes from China in 2013. The duty was extended to Malaysia in 2017 and in 2018 it was renewed for another five years.
