Russia's Energy Ministry not requiring RusHydro to spin off power grid assets right after transition to market pricing in Far East - Shulginov
VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Russia's Energy Ministry is not requiring PJSC RusHydro to spin off its power grid assets as part of transitioning to market pricing in the country's Far East beginning in 2024, Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) 2023.
RusHydro will be granted a period for transitioning, Shulginov said at the forum.
"The owner will determine the timeframe for being able to complete this [the transition]," Shulginov noted.
