Russian cosmonauts to conduct spacewalk on Aug 9
MOSCOW. Aug 1 (Interfax) - Russian cosmonauts' next spacewalk from the International Space Station (ISS) has been set for August 9, Roscosmos said on Tuesday.
The state corporation's report on ISS activity as of July 31 says that it has "prepared for a spacewalk under the Russian program (EVA 60) due on August 9 - the flight documentation and preliminary spacewalk cycle timing chart have been studied, spacewalk equipment and instruments have been found, and the status of the muscular system of the cosmonauts' hands has been assessed."
