DTEK starts cooperation with KPMG to boost int'l assistance for Ukrainian energy sector

MOSCOW. June 21 (Interfax) - Ukrainian energy holding DTEK has started to cooperate with the KPMG international auditing company to increase international donor assistance for the restoration of Ukraine's energy system, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing a statement circulated by DTEK on social media.

"This will help raise more funds and equipment for the restoration of energy infrastructure," the company said.

DTEK general director Maxim Timchenko, for his part, said that cooperation with KPMG helps promote trust in the company's relations with donors.

"DTEK's international partners provide important support, and we are working to keep the light on. DTEK has zero tolerance for any form of corruption, and our cooperation with KPMG builds trust in DTEK's relations with donors," Timchenko said.
