Zelensky thanks Sunak for organizing Ukraine Recovery Conference in London

MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky thanked UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in a recent phone call for organizing the June 21-22 Ukraine Recovery Conference in London.

"Thank you, Rishi Sunak, for organizing the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London on June 21-22 and for the leading role of the United Kingdom in consolidating international support for Ukraine," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Zelensky as saying in a social media post.

During the conversation, "we coordinated our positions on the eve of the NATO summit in Vilnius," Zelensky said.

"It is important for Ukraine to get concrete membership prospects," he said.
