McDonald's resumes operations in Dnepr
MOSCOW. April 25 (Interfax) - The McDonald's chain in Ukraine resumed operations of five of its outlets in Dnepr on April 25, and two more will reopen in the city in early May, Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the company's press service.
Like the McDonald's restaurants that reopened earlier in Kiev and western regions of Ukraine in September 2022, the restaurants in Dnepr will offer a shortened menu including basic items for the time being. The menu will be enlarged as the company restores supply chains and increases the capacity of its warehouses.
The McDelivery service provided by the chain's partners Glovo and Bolt Food will become available in early May, it said.
McDonald's Ukraine Ltd. is developing the national network. The first McDonald's restaurant in Ukraine opened in Kiev on May 24, 1997. As reported, McDonald's started gradually reopening its restaurants in the country on September 20, 2022. Before February 24, 2022, the chain of McDonald's Ukraine operated 109 restaurants in 24 cities.
According to the unified register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, MCD Europe Limited (100%, London, the UK) is the company shareholder.
As of December 2021, McDonald's Ukraine Ltd.'s authorized capital was 901.801 million hryvni.
