Zelensky discusses with Macron his visit to China, increased support for Ukraine with Sunak
MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky held an hour-and-a-half phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron last Saturday.
The two sides discussed the results of President Macron's recent visit to China. "We also discussed the preparations for the NATO Vilnius summit and its expected results, in particular regarding Ukraine's obtaining effective security guarantees even before joining the Alliance. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula," Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky's post on social media.
Zelensky discussed the situation on the front and stronger support for Ukraine with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
According to Ukrainian media reports, Zelensky spoke with the British prime minister over the phone the previous day.
"I had a phone talk with the Prime Minister of the UK Rishi Sunak. We discussed our defense needs and increased support, and planned international events," Zelensky said on social media.
