UAE sends plane with humanitarian aid to Ukraine

MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sent a plane with humanitarian aid for the population of Ukraine within the framework of a support program, the Ukrainian media said on Friday, citing the Ukrainian Economy Ministry.

"People there will be provided with warm clothes and hygiene products," the ministry said.

It was reported earlier that the UAE had supplied Ukraine with 2,500 generators within the framework of the $100-million support program. They were forwarded to ten regions of eastern and southern Ukraine.
