Krasnoyarsk company establishes wood processing production for 3 billion rubles

KRASNOYARSK. March 10 (Interfax) - Krasnoyarsk-based Kizirlesprom will invest 3 billion rubles in the creation of a wood processing enterprise in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation website said.

As part of the project, there are plans to create a plant for the production of sawn timber from coniferous and softwood species of wood, and both wood and charcoal briquettes, as well as organize a logging enterprise. The project also looks to utilize its own logging production capacity in an amount of 200 thousand sq. m. per year.

In accordance with the investment project plan, it is expected that logging will begin in Q4, 2024, while the achievement of full design capacity for the production of sawn timber and wood briquettes is planned for H1 2028, with charcoal briquettes coming in Q4 2029.

According to the company, all lumber produced (up to 228,000 sq. m. per year) will be exported, while wood briquettes (about 20,000 tonnes) and charcoal briquettes (2,900 tonnes) are planned for sale on the domestic market.

Kizirlesprom LLC was registered in Krasnoyarsk in August 2022; the company's primary activity is advising on commercial activities and management. The company is owned equally by Anton Zherebtsov and Mikhail Donchenko.
