Zelensky, Yermak meet with Nuland in Kiev

MOSCOW. Dec 5 (Interfax) - Andrei Yermak, chief of the Ukrainian presidential office, had a working meeting with United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink in Kiev on Saturday.

Yermak thanked Nuland for visiting Ukraine, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the presidential office's press service. "Everyone knows how much you support our country," he said.

Yermak also thanked Ukraine's partners for supporting the Grain from Ukraine initiative and participating in the International Summit on Food Security. "We view Grain from Ukraine as an important tool to strengthen global food security," he said.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky also received Nuland. While meeting with her, he mentioned a strategic role and allied nature of Ukrainian-American partnership and addressed key items on the bilateral agenda.
