Judicial reform in Ukraine remains key priority - G7 ambassadors
MOSCOW. Nov 10 (Interfax) - The ambassadors of the Group of Seven (G7) member states to Ukraine welcomed the progress in promoting the rule of law in Ukraine on the anniversary of the launch of the Ethics Council and recalled the importance of pursuing reforms.
"One year ago, the Ethics Council started its task of renewing the High Council of Justice. Judicial reform, including a new CCU [Constitutional Court of Ukraine] selection procedure, remain critical priorities and should be aligned with Venice Commission recommendations," the G7 ambassadors were quoted by the Ukrainian media as saying on social media.
