Russia registers 2,683 new cases of Covid-19, 51 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ

MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 2,683 new cases of Covid-19, as well as 617 hospitalizations and 51 deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Monday.

"As of June 27, Russia recorded 2,683 cases of Covid-19 and 617 patients were hospitalized, down 1.8% from the previous day," the headquarters said.

The number of hospitalizations grew in 29 Russian constituent territories, decreased in 35, and remained unchanged in 21, it said.

Fifty-one patients died from Covid-19 over the day, as against 55 the day before.

The daily morbidity has decreased by 321 cases from 3,004 reported on Sunday. The morbidity keeps at the minimal levels of mid-April 2020.

"Another 2,355 patients have recovered over the past day, down 13.2% from June 26," the headquarters said.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 18,421,574 cases of Covid-19, including 380,941 deaths and 17,847,868 recoveries.
