Russia's Gamaleya Center permitted to conduct trials of Covid-19 monoclonal antibody drug
MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - The Russian Health Ministry has permitted the Gamaleya Center to conduct the Phase I and Phase II clinical trials of GamCoviMab, a monoclonal antibody medication to treat Covid-19, according to the state register of clinical trial permissions.
The register indicates that the clinical trials will run from March 4, 2022, to December 31, 2022. A total of 101 volunteers will take part in them.
The trials of GamCoviMab, which is a two-component medication, will take place at the Russian Health Ministry's Smorodintsev Research Institute of Influenza in St. Petersburg.
