Number of new daily Covid-19 cases in Moscow declines over 3-fold compared to peak rates - Mayor Sobyanin
MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - The morbidity of Covid-19 in Moscow has decreased threefold compared to the peak of the wave caused by the spread of the Omicron variant of coronavirus, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
"A steady decline in the incidence of Omicron is continuing in Moscow. Compared to the peak rates reached in late January, the number of new [daily] coronavirus cases has declined by more than three times," Sobyanin said in his blog.
He added that the number of hospitalizations has halved.
