Lukashenko says fears active military actions by U.S

MINSK. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has said he fears possible active military actions of the United States.

"We will encounter America. If we shoot dead at least one American soldier, we will encounter them. And a conflict involving a technological war machine, a powerful state rather than a thousand soldiers will begin then. This is the danger," the BelTA state-run news agency quoted Lukashenko as saying.

"One thousand [troops on the border] which the Americans redeployed to the Belarusian border does not matter. What is one thousand?" he said.
