Beijing preparing meeting between Russian, U.S., Chinese leaders, might make it part of APEC summit agenda - Kremlin aide

MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - China is already working on preparations for a meeting between the leaders of Russia, the United States, and China, and if circumstances prove favorable, it will incorporate it into the agenda of the upcoming APEC summit in Shenzhen, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"Our Chinese friends, the hosts of the APEC summit, will make preparations, or to be more precise, are already making them. And if circumstances prove favorable, they, I mean our Chinese friends, will certainly fit this meeting in the program of events in Shenzhen," Ushakov told reporters following a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff.

Speaking about possible content of such trilateral talks, Ushakov said, "We have voiced some practical ideas."
