Russia's revenue from agricultural exports to South Africa exceeds $54 mln in 9M 2026 - Agroexport

MOSCOW. Oct 12 (Interfax) - Russia's revenue from exports of agricultural products to South Africa exceeded $54 million in 9M 2026, with supplies amounting to around 230,000 tonnes, the Agroexport federal center told Interfax, citing expert estimates.

The center did not provide the dynamics of the indicators.

The top three types of exported products included wheat, of which $51.5 million worth was shipped, instant coffee (more than $1.1 million), and millet (around $770,000).

"Wheat has been the driver of Russian agricultural exports to South Africa from year to year. For the period from October 2025 to the beginning of September 2026, Russia took second place in the list of suppliers of this grain with a share of about 15% of total imports," Agroexport said.

In addition, following a hiatus beginning in 2021, Russia resumed exports of flour to South Africa this year. Around 500 tonnes worth more than $200,000 were shipped in 9M.

Agroexport noted that supplies amounted to around 290 tonnes worth $91,000 for the whole of 2021.
