Armenian, Turkish foreign ministers discuss cooperation
YEREVAN. Oct 9 (Interfax) - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan discussed cooperation between the two countries during a telephone call on Friday.
"The ministers have discussed Armenian-Turkish cooperation. Mirzoyan and Fidan also exchanged views on regional cooperation and multilateral platforms," the press service for the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
Turkey and Armenia do not have diplomatic relations, and the border between them is closed at Ankara's initiative since 1993. Yerevan and Ankara have been holding talks at the level of special representatives in order to open border for citizens of third countries and normalize relation since 2022.
