Russian cosmonaut Fedyayev to return to Earth from ISS on Oct 8 - Roscosmos

MOSCOW. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Russian cosmonaut Andrei Fedyayev is scheduled to return to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS) aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft on October 8, Russia's Roscosmos state space corporation said on Tuesday.

"Roscosmos Cosmonaut Andrei Fedyaev is to return to Earth on October 8," it said.

"The spacecraft with our cosmonaut on board is scheduled to undock from the ISS no earlier than 8:05 a.m. EDT on October 7," it said.

After undocking, the spacecraft is to splash down off the coast of California. "The timing of the operation depends on weather conditions," it said.

The Crew 12 mission currently aboard the ISS is comprised of Fedyayev, NASA astronauts Jessica Meir, and Jack Hathaway, and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Sophie Adenot, which have stayed in orbit for longer than seven months now.

The Crew 13 mission, which arrived at the ISS last Friday, includes Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Teteryatnikov, NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, and Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Joshua Kutryk.
