Kyrgyzstan's industrial output exceeds $9 bln in 2025 - PM
BISHKEK. Oct 2 (Interfax) - Kyrgyzstan's industrial output totaled $9.14 billion in 2025, Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev said on Thursday.
"Over the past five years, the industrial output has more than doubled from $4.24 billion in 2021 to $9.14 billion in 2025," Kasymaliyev said at an Innoprom plenary session in Minsk.
"In three years, 287 industrial enterprises have been launched in Kyrgyzstan, representing $2 billion in investment and approximately 21,000 jobs, and another 47 enterprises will begin operations before the end of the year," Kasymaliyev said.
Kyrgyzstan is pursuing a consistent policy to improve the investment climate and create favorable conditions for doing business, he said.
"A set of institutional and economic reforms, which is aimed at increasing the transparency of public administration and reducing administrative barriers, has been implemented in the country," Kasymaliyev added.
Kasymaliyev is in Belarus on a working visit to attend a regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
