Estimate of Russian pipeline gas exports in 2026 raised from 115.5 bcm to 117.5 bcm - forecast

MOSCOW. Sept 24 (Interfax) - The estimate of Russian pipeline gas exports in 2026 has been raised from 115.5 billion cubic meters to 117.5 bcm, a representative of the Economic Development Ministry told Interfax.

These figures are contained in the macroeconomic forecast for 2027-2029, considered on Thursday at a government meeting, the representative said.

The baseline forecast for the subsequent three-year period has been lowered. In 2027, exports are expected at the level of 120.5 bcm (compared to 125.5 bcm in the previous forecast from May 2026), 115 bcm in 2028 (compared to 125 bcm), and 119.5 bcm in 2029 (compared with 127.5 bcm).
