Number of Rosatom specialists at Iran's Bushehr NPP reaches 63, their number to increase in near future - CEO

MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - The number of Rosatom specialists at Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) currently stands at 63, and their number is set to increase, Rosatom CEO Alexei Likhachev said.

"Another 18 specialists joined our team last night. Thus, the total size of the Russian team has reached 63. The number of our personnel will continue to rise in the near future," Likhachev told reporters on Tuesday.

The situation at the facility is calm, but "a significant increase in our personnel numbers in Iran is possible only after the peace agreements between Iran and the United States are firmly cemented," he said.
