SCO Council of Heads of Government to hold meeting in Dushanbe on Oct 19-20

DUSHANBE. Sept 21 (Interfax) - The Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) plans to hold a meeting in Dushanbe on October 19-20, the Russian trade mission to Tajikistan said.

The meeting will take place within Tajikistan's SCO chairmanship in 2026.

The meeting is to address vital tracks of practical interaction between the SCO member states, including in the trade and economic sphere.

The agenda is expected to include issues concerning trade-economic and investment cooperation, transport and logistics, industrial cooperation, creative and digital economy development, innovations and financial interaction.

The meeting will also address issued relating to social and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
