CSTO, UN, CIS secretaries-general discuss int'l security in Bishkek
MOSCOW. Sept 1 (Interfax) - Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary-General Taalatbek Masadykov, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and CIS Secretary-General Sergei Lebedev discussed international security issues at an SCO Plus meeting in Bishkek, the CSTO said on Tuesday.
"The parties exchanged views on relevant aspects of international politics and security," it said.
Masadykov and Guterres discussed steps to develop cooperation between the CSTO and the UN.
"Emphasis was placed on countering terrorism, drug trafficking, and peacekeeping," it said.
