Russian finance minister, U.S. Treasury secretary meet on sidelines of G20 in Asheville - Russian ministry

MOSCOW. Aug 31 (Interfax) - Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent have met on the sidelines of a meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors.

The meeting of G20 finance leaders is taking place in Asheville (United States) on August 31-September 1.

"The discussion focused on Russian-U.S. interaction on the financial track and interaction in the Group of 20 framework," the Russian Finance Ministry said in a statement.
