Package of documents signed after talks of Belarusian, Myanmar presidents
MINSK. Aug 21 (Interfax) - A package of documents concerning trade, economic, scientific, technical, legal and other fields was signed in Minsk on Friday, following negotiations between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing, the Belarusian state-run news agency BelTA reported.
"These documents include the agreement between Belarus and Myanmar on the provision of mutual legal assistance in civil and economic cases, and the agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal cases," the report said.
"The sides signed memoranda of understanding on cooperation between electoral bodies, strategic research institutions, mass media outlets, the Belarusian State University and the Myanmar Space Agency. A memorandum of intent was signed in the latter's interests to design a small remote sensing satellite," it said.
