Russian oil cos receive 113 bln rubles under oil damper in July vs 210.6 bln rubles in June - Finance Ministry

MOSCOW. Aug 5 (Interfax) - Oil companies were paid 113 billion rubles from the Russian budget under the fuel damper in July, according to materials on the formation and use of additional oil and gas revenues published on the Finance Ministry's website.

In accordance with tax legislation, damper payments are made for the previous month, meaning that the payments in July were for June.

A total of 210.6 billion rubles was paid out for May in June.

Oil companies received 701.6 billion rubles for the first six months of 2026, including the 33.8 billion rubles which they had to pay into the treasury for January and February combined. Taking into account payments made in January for December, the total amount received by oil companies under the damper was 718.5 billion rubles.
