Transneft closes representative office in Slovakia

MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax) - Transneft closed its representative office in Slovakia earlier this year, the Russian oil pipeline operator said.

"The company's representative office in the Slovak Republic has been closed since May 2026," Transneft said in a report to Russian Accounting Standards.

The Druzhba oil export pipeline, established in 1964, passes through Slovakia. Transneft and Slovakia's JSC Transpetrol have also signed an agreement for oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline.

Transneft currently has representative offices in Poland, Hungary, and Belarus.
