Kyrgyzstan, Russia agree on monthly supplies of 100,000 tonnes of fuel, lubricants until end of 2026

BISHKEK. July 31 (Interfax) - Kyrgyzstan and Russia have agreed on monthly deliveries of 100,000 tonnes of fuel and lubricants until the end of 2026, the Kyrgyz presidential administration told Interfax.

The Kyrgyz authorities said that the fuel would be sold at exchange prices.

"An agreement has already been reached that is in effect until the end of the year," the Interfax source said.

As previously reported, the Kyrgyz government had begun negotiations on supplies of fuel and lubricants from alternative sources. Supplies from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan were under consideration. Fuel deliveries from China and Belarus have already begun.

The Kyrgyz government has also imposed a complete ban on fuel exports and simplified imports.
