Armenia's GDP grows 7.9%, industry 10.8% in H1
YEREVAN. July 27 (Interfax) - Armenia's GDP grew 7.9% in year-on-year in H1 2026, the country's statistics committee said.
Industrial output rose 10.8% to 1.52 trillion dram while agricultural output fell 11.9% to 310 billion dram.
Output rose in construction by 24.5% to 282.2 billion dram, in trade by 0.9% to 3.16 trillion dram and in services by 11.1% to 2.15 trillion dram.
Foreign trade inched down 0.1% to $9.57 billion with exports falling 6.7% to $3.43 billion but imports rising 4% to $6.14 billion.
Power generation grew 7.7% to 4.66 billion kWh.
The state budget targets 5.4% GDP growth in 2026. GDP grew 7.2% in 2025.
