Russian govt discussing extension of diesel fuel export ban for another month, gasoline export ban for six months - sources
MOSCOW. July 23 (Interfax) - The Russian government is discussing extending the diesel fuel export ban for producers for another month after it expires on July 31, and the gasoline export ban, also expiring in late July, for six months, several sources familiar with the situation told Interfax.
One of the sources said that the corresponding draft decree had already been prepared, but the final decision would be made by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
A second source said that this decision had "effectively been taken".
The ban on diesel fuel exports for non-producers is expected to be extended similarly for six months.
