Uzhuralzoloto changes name to BTS-Gold, Oleg Shiryaev appointed head of group

MOSCOW. July 7 (Interfax) - The new investor has made a decision to change the name of PJSC Uzhuralzoloto group of companies (UGC) to BTS-Gold group of companies.

Oleg Shiryaev, the former head of EuroChem, has been appointed head of the group, the company said.

Uzhuralzoloto is one of the largest gold mining companies in Russia. In mid-June, BTS-Most Holding, controlled by Ruslan Baisarov, won the auction for the sale of 67.2% of Uzhuralzoloto and a number of related assets, offering a price of 93.2 billion rubles.
