Tajikistan boosts agro output 7.5% in Jan-May
DUSHANBE. July 6 (Interfax) - Tajikistan boosted agricultural production 7.5% year-on-year in constant prices to 11.68 billion somoni in January-May 2026, according to a report from the presidential Statistics Agency.
Livestock farming contributed most to the growth by rising 8.7% year-on-year to 7.89 billion somoni. Crop production increased 4.9% year-on-year to 3.79 billion somoni.
Private farms accounted for the majority of agricultural production at 58.7% of the total. Private farms accounted for 25.9%, while collective farms accounted for 15.4%.
