Russian oil companies receive 210.6 bln rubles under damper mechanism in June compared to 204.3 bln rubles in May - Finance Ministry

MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - Payments from the Russian budget to oil companies under the fuel damper in June amounted to 210.6 billion rubles, according to materials on the formation and use of additional oil and gas revenues of the federal budget posted on the Finance Ministry's website.

In accordance with tax legislation, calculations under the damper are carried out for the preceding month; thus payments for May were made in June.

In May, similar payments for April amounted to 204.3 billion rubles.

In total, oil companies received 588.6 billion rubles in 5M 2026, taking into account that for the first two months of the year they had to pay a total of 33.8 billion rubles to the treasury.
