Russia's first continuous blood glucose monitoring device added to industrial products register

MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - The Russian Industry and Trade Ministry has added the country's first continuous blood glucose monitoring device to the industrial products register, the ministry said.

"The Lumiflex Linx continuous glucose monitoring device has been officially included in the Russian industrial products register, effective June 30, 2026. This is the first time a CGM device produced in Russia has appeared in the register," the ministry's press service said.

The device monitors blood glucose in diabetes patients 24/7. Inclusion in the register confirms that the product is manufactured in Russia and meets set requirements.

"This decision is expected to make modern monitoring technologies more accessible to Russian patients, reducing exposure to imported alternatives," the ministry said.
