Belarusian president starting Asian tour
MINSK. June 29 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has started a visit to the Asian region, he will visit several countries, the presidential press service said on Sunday.
"Alexander Lukashenko will visit several states for top-level talks, which will address large-scale projects in various areas that hold promise for the country," the press service said in a statement.
Each of the visits was preceded by a lot of preparation, it said.
"East Asia and South East Asia are a region that is a leader in global development and a global driver of the economy. That is the reason for the high interest in the development of cooperation with Asian states, which is a foreign policy priority of Belarus, it forms the foundation of its multi-vector policies," the press service said.
