Gazprom Neft plans to launch commercial production of gas part of Chonsky project, Jurassic-Neocomian Bovanenkovo field by end of 2026

MOSCOW. June 25 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft plans to launch commercial production of the gas part of the Chonsky project and the Jurassic-Neocomian Bovanenkovo field by the end of 2026, CEO Alexander Dyukov said during the annual general shareholders meeting.

"The investments are primarily in production projects, namely the Jurassic-Neocomian Bovanenkovo field, the Chonsky project, and Taas-Yuryakh. Regarding refining, we have begun implementing the new Graphitech project at the Omsk Oil Refinery, which envisages constructing graphite processing facilities," Dyukov said regarding the company's increased investment.

"We should realize returns on several projects this year. In May, we launched the oil part of the Chonsky project, and we expect the Chonsky gas part to begin commercial production by the end of the year. We plan to launch commercial production of the Jurassic-Neocomian Bovanenkovo field later this year," Dyukov said.

"Our investments have increased, but these are investments in profitable, cost-effective projects that should begin to yield returns this year," Dyukov emphasized.
