Roscosmos to take part in meeting of heads of BRICS space agencies in India

MOSCOW. June 23 (Interfax) - A Roscosmos delegation will take part in a meeting of heads of space agencies of the BRICS member states in India's Bangalore and hold talks with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on June 23-24, the press service for the state-owned space corporation said.

Roscosmos Deputy General Director for Manned Space Programs Sergei Krikalev will represent the corporation, the press service said.

The Russian delegation's meeting with the ISRO management is planned prior to the start of the business program, it said.

"The parties will discuss current cooperation of Russia and India, which is chairing BRICS in 2026, in space exploration and prospective projects of mutual interest," it said.
