Rosneft expects to launch first phase of Bukhta Sever port in Sept - CEO

BOLSHOI KAMEN, Primorye. June 19 (Interfax) - Rosneft is continuing construction of key infrastructure for the Vostok Oil project, including the Port Bukhta Sever oil terminal, oil pumping stations and a transfer point with tank farm.

"Furthermore, the construction of an oil pipeline with a total length of 790 km is concluding. Upon completion of our work here in Vladivostok, I was planning to visit the Vostok Oil project. We will ensure the completion of connection work on the oil pipeline," Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin said at the oil company's annual general meeting.

"And we expect that in September we will be able to report that the first phase of the port in Bukhta Sever [Sever Bay] has been put into operation," Sechin said.
