Uzbekneftegaz signs contract with China's IMBSU Steel Industry for supply of pipes
TASHKENT. June 17 (Interfax) - JSC Uzbekneftegaz has attracted China's IMBSU Steel Industry as a supplier of pipes for the oil and gas sector, the press service of the Uzbek state company said in a statement on social media.
"As part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, a ceremony was held for signing an agreement on the supply of pipe products between JSC Uzbekneftegaz and China's IMBSU Steel Industry. This agreement aims to provide production and infrastructure projects in the oil and gas sector with high-quality pipe products, strengthen technological stability in the industry and increase the efficiency of production processes," the press service said.
Negotiations between the parties on the contract terms were held in May this year, and the main technical and commercial conditions were agreed upon, it said.
As part of the signed document, the sides will cooperate on supplying pipe products that meet modern standards, with quality control and the ensuring project's timely completion.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, this agreement is of great importance for providing the company's major investment and production projects with sustainable material and technical resources, expanding international cooperation in this area and further developing infrastructure.
