Russia's consolidated budget deficit widens to 4.7 trillion rubles in Jan-April - Treasury
MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax) - Russia had a consolidated budget deficit of 4.696 trillion rubles for January-April 2026 according to a preliminary estimate, the Federal Treasury said on its website.
The consolidated budget deficit for January-April 2025 was 2.348 trillion rubles.
Consolidated budget revenue was 24.8 trillion rubles in January-April 2026, compared with 24.392 trillion rubles in January-April 2025. Consolidated expenditure increased to 29.495 trillion rubles, from 26.74 trillion rubles a year previously.
There was a federal budget deficit of 5.796 trillion rubles in January-April with revenue of 11.727 trillion rubles and spending of 17.521 trillion rubles.
Constituent members or regions of the Russian Federation had a consolidated budget surplus of 483.3 billion rubles, with revenue of 8.503 trillion rubles and expenditure of 8.02 trillion rubles.
The budgets of state extra-budgetary funds had a surplus of 468.6 billion rubles in the first four months, with revenue of 7.847 trillion rubles and expenditure of 7.379 trillion rubles.
The budgets of territorial state extra-budgetary funds had a surplus of 148.5 billion rubles, with revenue of 1.387 trillion rubles and expenditure of 1.239 trillion rubles.
