Gazprom signs agreement on additional gas supplies to Kazakhstan in 2026
MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - The CEO of Russian gas giant Gazprom , Alexei Miller and the head of Kazakhstan's presidential administration, Roman Sklyar held a meeting at which they discussed current issues of cooperation and signed an agreement on additional supplies of Russian gas to Kazakhstan in 2026, the company reported.
They highly praised their strategic partnership in the gas sector, noting Gazprom's substantial contribution to ensuring reliable gas supplies to Kazakhstan and strengthening the energy security of Central Asia, the company said.
Gazprom and Kazakhstan's government signed a strategic cooperation agreement in 2023.
