Russian GDP grows 1.3% in April, 0.2% in 4M - Econ Ministry
MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - Russian GDP rose an estimated 1.3% year-on-year in April, the Economic Development Ministry said in a report on the current economic situation.
GDP had risen 1.9% in March, adjusted from 1.8%, fallen 1.0% in February, adjusted from 1.1%, and fallen 1.7% in January, adjusted from 1.8%.
GDP grew 0.2% year-on-year in January-April 2026.
The economy fell in the first two months due to calendar factors: there were two fewer working days in January and one fewer in February than in the same months last year, the ministry said earlier.
GDP fell an estimated 0.5% in April when adjusted for the seasonal factor, the ministry said.
