T-Technologies closes deal to purchase 100% of Auto.ru from Yandex for 35 billion rubles

MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - ICPJSC T-Technologies has closed a deal to purchase 100% of the Auto.ru group, the T-Technologies group said in a statement.

Auto.ru should continue functioning as a separate service, but will be integrated with other elements of T-Technologies.

The sum of the deal is 35 billion rubles, which the group is funding through borrowings. "As a result of the implementation of the synergy with Auto.ru, the group expects to earn additional operating profit of around 45 billion rubles and above in the next three years," the statement reads.

It has been reported previously that T-Auto, part of T-Technologies, will buy Yandex subsidiary Yandex Verticals out of its 100% share in the Auto.ru group for 35 billion rubles.

The deal includes all the assets of Auto.ru: the eponymous advertisement platform for vehicle sales, B2B platform Auto.ru Business and the eCredit service for digital automobile loans at dealerships.

Avto.ru was founded in 1996 and was purchased by Yandex in 2024 for $175 million. Since then, the service's monthly audience has nearly tripled, from 12 million to 33 million users.

Rumors about the sale of Avto.ru emerged at the end of 2025. At that time, the main potential buyers named were Sberbank , T-Bank and Avito.
