SOCAR to start supplying gas to San Marino in Oct - media
BAKU. June 2 (Interfax) - The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will begin supplying gas to San Marino this fall, Azerbaijani state media reported.
SOCAR and the State Company for Public Services of San Marino (Autonoma di Stato per i Servizi Pubblici), or AASS signed an agreement at Baku Energy Week on Monday that calls for the sale of gas to San Marino, with deliveries scheduled to begin this October, the report said.
The agreement was signed by SOCAR president Rovshan Najaf and AASS CEO Marcello Forcellini.
AASS is a wholly state owned public utility founded in 1981 under San Marino law. The company distributes electricity, natural gas (methane) and water, expands and maintains utility networks and provides other public utility services.
