Gazprom Group cuts capex to IFRS to 403 bln rubles in Q1 2026 from 640 bln rubles in Q1 2025

MOSCOW. May 29 (Interfax) - Gazprom Group cut capital expenditures to International Financial Reporting Standards to 403 billion rubles in Q1 2026 from 640 billion rubles in Q1 2025, the group said in a financial statement.

"Operating expenses, which are included in the calculation of this indicator, decreased 7%. The company continues to curb costs at all levels actively. This is reflected in the amount of capital expenditures, which we cut 37% compared to the first quarter of 2025," Famil Sadygov, Gazprom CFO and deputy chairman of the management board, said.
