Russia boosts glucose exports almost 1.5-fold in Q1 to 7,500 tonnes - Agroexport

MOSCOW. May 22 (Interfax) - Russia exported nearly 7,500 tonnes of glucose and glucose syrup in Q1 2026, up almost 1.5-fold year-on-year, while export revenue grew 39% to more than $3.5 million, the Agroexport federal center told Interfax, citing expert estimates.

Key importers included Belarus (around 3,000 tonnes), Uzbekistan (more than 1,500 tonnes) and Kazakhstan (more than 1,000 tonnes).

According to Agroexport, Russia exported 32,000 tonnes of glucose worth nearly $17 million in 2025.

The historical record for export by weight was recorded in 2023, at 39,000 tonnes. The highest export revenue was obtained in 2022 - $21 million.
